Font Licences

Welcome to iFrameFonts.com. By purchasing and using any font from our website, you agree to be bound by the terms of this License Agreement. This Agreement grants you, the Licensee, a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use the font(s) you purchase under the terms and conditions set forth below.

1. Definitions

Font(s): The digital typeface software, including any updates and upgrades, provided by iFrameFonts.com.
Licensee: The individual or entity purchasing the license for the Font(s).

2. Licence for Commercial Use

A Commercial license is the standard licensing option for organizations and business entities. Licenses are purchased by the company and can be used by any single person within this organization.

You need one (1) desktop license for every workstation the font is installed on.
With it you can create all the prints, logo, social media, website, app and non-embedded material you want. One (1) license(s) purchase is for any kind of project, but for one workstation.

Font Commercial Use for Designers (Single License):

  • As a designer, if you purchase a font license, it typically grants you the rights to use that font in your projects. This license is often limited to the specific machine or user that purchased it.
  • The key is that you, as the licensed designer, can use it across multiple projects.

Font Commercial Use for Client Projects (Separate Licenses for Each Client):

  • For client projects, you often need to obtain a separate license for each client or project. This ensures that your client has the legal right to use the font in their materials, branding, or website.
  • If you’re using the font in a deliverable that the client will own or manage (such as a website, product packaging, or app), the client themselves needs to obtain their own license for that specific use.
  • This is especially true for fonts used in mediums like logos, digital products, or large-scale commercial use, where multiple users or distribution channels are involved.

4. Types of Licenses

Fonts are used in a wide variety of contexts, each with specific requirements and goals. Here are some common use cases for fonts:

a. Desktop License (for Personal or Commercial Use)

The Desktop License allows you to install and use the font on up to [insert number] devices for the purpose of designing graphics, documents, or other creative works (both personal and commercial).

The Licensee may use the font to create static images (e.g., .jpg, .png) or printed materials (e.g., flyers, business cards).
Embedding the font in digital products, websites, or apps is NOT permitted under this license.

b. Webfont License (for Website Use)

The Webfont License allows you to embed the font on [insert number] domains owned by you or your client via CSS @font-face technology.
Fonts licensed under the Webfont License may be hosted on web servers, but the Licensee may not redistribute or allow direct access to the font files.
Webfont use is subject to a monthly pageview limit of [insert number] pageviews per month. For higher pageview limits, an extended license is required.

c. App License (for Embedding in Apps)

The App License allows you to embed the font in [insert number] apps or digital products (e.g., mobile apps, e-books, or software).
This license is limited to a specified number of downloads or users, as detailed at the time of purchase.
A separate App License must be obtained for each app or digital product in which the font will be embedded.

5. Client Work & Transfer of Rights

If the Licensee is a designer or developer purchasing fonts for use in a client project, the Licensee must ensure that the client purchases their own license for continued use.
You may not transfer this license to any third party unless explicitly stated or agreed to in writing by iframefonts.com.

6. Restrictions
